Coils and e juice are the two parts of your vaping set-up that need to be replaced regularly. You can clean the tank and use it for many months or longer, but the coils typically need to be replaced every week or two (or three, depending on how frequently you vape).
When the coil wears out, you will start noticing that there’s less flavor in your vape. If you keep vaping with an old coil, you’ll taste a stale or burnt flavor. Eventually, it stops working altogether. For the best vaping experience, you should always replace the atomizer coil as soon as the flavor starts to fade away.
How to Replace the Coil in a HAUS CC Mod
Replacing the atomizer coil only takes a minute. You just need to remove the current coil, screw in the replacement, and let your juice steep for a few minutes.
HAUS CC Mod tanks use a bottom coil design. That means the coil attaches to the tank cap, rather than the mouthpiece. Bottom coil design makes it easy to replace the coil. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of HAUS CC Mod coil replacement:
- Remove the tank from the battery. Hold the tank upside down (with the drip tip facing down).
- Separate the tank cap from the tank.
- Unscrew the atomizer coil from inside the tank cap. Use the easy-grip grooves on the side of the coil.
- Refill your e juice if necessary, and screw the tank cap back onto the tank.
- Let the tank sit upright for a few minutes to soak the new coil before vaping.
Be Safe, Avoid a Mess!
Try to avoid getting e liquid directly on your skin while replacing the coil. If you do get juice on your hands, rinse them thoroughly with warm water.
It’s also a good idea to replace an atomizer coil on a hard countertop or other surface that won’t be easily stained. E juice can be cleaned out of fabrics, but it’s much easier to avoid the mess in the first place!
Be Ready with Replacement Coils
Pick up a few 3-packs of HAUS CC Mod replacement coils, and you’ll always be ready with a fresh coil.
There are many sizes and shapes of replacement coils out there, and you need the right ones for your tank. Craft Collection uses 0.3 ohm resistance coils for powerful sub ohm vaping — and a fresh coil makes all the difference!
