With the Indianapolis 500 weekend quickly approaching, the Mistic Machine and KVSH Racing have been busy on the track, running 2 more races in April!
In the Grand Prix of Long Beach on April 13th, Sebastien Bourdais and the Mistic Machine started the day in 3rd, but ended in the middle of the pack with a 14th place finish out of 23 drivers, earning 16 points in the INDY series. Mike Conway ended the day with the win after starting from the 17th position.
Two weeks later, on April 26th, the Mistic Machine was back on the road and had a similar finish in the Indy Grand Prix of Alabama. After starting the day in 12th place, the Mistic Machine finished in 15th in front of INDY Car mainstays such as Helio Castroneves and Juan Pablo Montoya. Ryan Hunter-Reay was the big winner in Alabama, taking home first place after starting in the third position.
That's now three starts for Sebastien Bourdais in the Mistic Machine, with finishes of 13th, 14th and 15th place, respectively. He has earned a total of 48 points for the team, good for 17th place in the overall standings and putting him 77 points behind the leader.
Saturday, May 10th marks the next date on the racetrack for the Mistic Machine, as Bourdais and the crew head to Indianapolis for the Grand Prix of Indianapolis, the final race before the Indy 500.
