Here at Mistic, we’ve always been racing fans – but we’re especially excited about the 2014 IndyCar Series.
As the co-primary sponsor of the No. 11 car piloted by KVSH Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais, we can’t wait to be cheering along with thousands of fans at the March 30th series opener, the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.
To get our team’s fans ready for the series, we’ll be kicking off the Mistic Machine National Tour with a pep rally on March 27th in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The rally for four-time Series champion Sebastien Bourdais will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Circle K store at 5th Ave. and 34th St.
All IndyCar fans and enthusiasts are invited to attend the rally, which will exhibit the Mistic Machine Indy show car, as well as race simulators, where drivers can test their skills behind the virtual wheel of an IndyCar. Best of all, Bourdais himself will be available to sign autographs and take photographs with fans.
“We are thrilled to be hosting this event and give St. Pete race fans the opportunity to get an up close look at the IndyCar experience,” said John Wiesehan Jr., CEO at Mistic. “Sebastien Bourdais is a proven champion and we are all excited to be part of the support team for this great driver.”
The 35-year-old Bourdais signed a two-year deal with KVSH Racing last year. The French driver has 31 victories, 15 on road courses and 12 on street courses. He’s also won on ovals, twice at Las Vegas, and once at Milwaukee.
The Mistic Machine National Tour will be making stops at a number of US cities, bringing an IndyCar experience to race fans across America. Those with a need for speed can race in one of Mistic’s virtual simulators and get the chance to meet members of the Mistic Pit Crew, who will be on hand to introduce adult smokers to Mistic’s electronic cigarettes and personal vaporizers, which are unique alternative to traditional tobacco.
