Breaking e-cig news: Mistic Electronic Cigarettes is now a co-primary sponsor of KVSH Racing for the 2014 and 2015 IndyCar Series seasons!

We're happy to announce that Mistic will serve as the co-primary sponsor of KVSH Racing's No. 11 car, piloted by Sebastien Bourdais, for the 2014 and 2015 IndyCar Series seasons.

“Partnering with KVSH Racing is a strategic fit for the Mistic brand, providing us with a fun and exciting platform to reach millions of IndyCar fans,” said John Wiesehan Jr., Mistic's CEO. “As race fans ourselves, we are looking forward to the 2014-2015 season, not only to cheer for the team’s new driver, Sebastien Bourdais, but to further leverage our relationship with KVSH Racing as we roll out offers and promotions that educate IndyCar fans on alternatives such as our electronic cigarettes.”

A mockup of the No. 11 “Mistic Machine,” featuring the Mistic logo, was unveiled yesterday.

Four-time champion Sebastien Bourdais was recently selected to pilot the car, which won the 2013 Indianapolis 500, and to lead the team’s championship charge for the next two seasons.

“I am very excited to be representing Mistic electronic cigarettes as I enter a new chapter of my career with KVSH Racing,” Bourdais said. “It’s a good feeling to know that we’re part of a brand that is offering adults a unique alternative to traditional tobacco.”

“We couldn’t be any more excited to bring the Mistic brand to the IndyCar community,” said James “Sulli” Sullivan, KVSH Racing partner. “After announcing Sebastien Bourdais as the driver, this is the next phase of taking KVSH to new heights following the Indianapolis 500 win in 2013.”

IndyCar fans that smoke can use Mistic electronic cigarettes at most IndyCar tracks. As part of the partnership, IndyCar fans will be introduced to visuals of the Mistic car in Circle K stores throughout the country, where Mistic products will be available for purchase.

The Indianapolis-based KVSH Racing IndyCar team is led by successful venture capitalist Kevin Kalkhoven, 1996 CART IndyCar World Series Champion Jimmy Vasser, and sports marketer James "Sulli" Sullivan. Team manager Steve Moore runs the team’s day-to-day operations.
